The hybrid version of the JAZZ e:HEV features Honda's unique e:HEV new generation hybrid technology, consisting of a 2.0 litre Atkinson recirculating petrol engine, twin electric motors, a new generation lithium-ion battery and an e-CVT automatic transmission. The new generation e:HEV Dynamic Hybrid technology intelligently switches between three different power modes according to the vehicle’s needs at the time, including the frequently used "Hybrid Mode" for stop-starts and and the "Engine Mode" for high-speed cruising.
